Tell me a story
This progam sets out to say what is needed for the video games industry to produce an epic in the terms of story telling. Its informative and enjoyable throughout. The annoying thing about it is the commentry sounds like the voice of the computer from the original star trek series after the computer has breathed (if a computer can breathe in) in Helium.
The main thrust of the arguement is that we the purchasers of highbrow video games should buy them and then by the laws of supply and demand more would be made. I have never played any of TS's games but Brutal Legend looks quite good. I can say that I played Beyond Good and Evil, it was critically praised but not very interesting. So if they want to make a good story they have to remember to put a good game in there as well.
On the whole this piece is well presented and thought provoking. If you can put up with the voice it might also be called good.
